"16 Demonic Strongholds" ...from 'Power & Authoritiy Over Darkness' (Greenig)

Here we go. (5:53) There are 16 demonic strongholds. There are also 16 major and minor prophets in the Bible, (6:00) or in the Old Testament. The following, through extensive research and desperate (6:04) cries for answers, is what I discovered about each one. You must have the presence of the Holy (6:11) Spirit, His guidance, and God's holy word in order to wage spiritual war and emerge victorious. (6:19) Father, we just stop right now.We just slow our minds and hearts down. (6:25) We are just resting in your presence, even as we're on the Kingdom Corner podcast, (6:30) even as we read through this book by Angela Greenegg. Lord, that you would open our hearts (6:36) and minds to the strategies of the enemy and to your delivering weapons from these strategies, (6:43) from these enemies. You also need advisors, those who've already faced the giants, (6:51) that can give you intelligence or intel to help navigate the situation, (6:56) so you don't have to reinvent the wheel. I learned how to battle and have great success (7:02) in expelling demons by realizing that Satan always mimics Christ and tries to be a mirror reflection. (7:11) Please know that I am like everyone else, and my priorities are as they are called to be, (7:17) God first, then spouse, then family, then ministry.I believe that you will find the (7:23) answers you're looking for in the next chapters. I began by becoming familiar with the foundation (7:31) of these spirits and their fruit. Then every time I went to take the darkness out, I had the basics (7:40) and learned more and more. And little by little, my knowledge grew until now when I train and show (7:48) people of many nations how to pull down and take back what belongs to them. I want to also point (7:55) out that the only way I could have gone and done a few of the successful exploits I write about (8:01) was because of years of learning and making many mistakes. Hallelujah.Thank you for Angela's (8:07) experience, right, that we can learn from as we just read through her book. Remember, there are (8:13) many deliverance techniques and ways of doing them. The most important thing I can say to you is to be (8:19) who you are.As the previous years have progressed, so have the do's and the don'ts. (8:25) As previously mentioned, one prays this way, another rebukes that way. Sadly, (8:31) some charge unbearable amounts of money to set people free.Isn't that sad? (8:37) Here are the 16 demonic strongholds that I've come into contact with. A lying spirit, number one. (8:47) A spirit of bondage, number two.A spirit of fear, number three. A spirit of heaviness, number four. (8:56) A spirit of infirmity, number five.A spirit of jealousy, number six. A spirit of haughtiness, (9:05) number seven. A spirit of discord, number eight.A spirit of whoredom, number nine. (9:13) A seducing spirit, number ten. A perverse spirit, number eleven.Number twelve, a spirit of (9:20) divination and familiar spirit. Number thirteen, an antichrist spirit. Number fourteen, unclean (9:29) spirit.Number fifteen, dumb or mute and deaf spirit. Number sixteen, spirit of lethargy. (9:38) Let's look at each of these strongholds in detail.First of all, number one, the lying spirit. (9:46) 2 Chronicles 18 21-22 says, He said, I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all (9:54) his prophets. And the Lord said, You shall persuade him and also prevail, go out and do so.(10:01) Therefore, look, the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of these prophets of yours. (10:09) Wow! And the Lord has declared disaster against you. Isn't that amazing? God actually (10:16) allowed the lying spirit to go to the prophets because they were not following God.Isn't that (10:23) amazing? And for this reason, God will send them strong delusion that they should believe the lie, (10:31) 2 Thessalonians 2.11. So, some manifestations of this lying spirit. Lies, strong delusion, (10:40) statements that deviate from or pervert the truth to release a false appearance. (10:47) This spirit talks too much, suggests to put as a thought, plan, or desire into a person's mind, (10:56) perverts, diverts to a wrong purpose, implies, expresses indirectly or hints at, (11:04) assumes, takes as granted or true, though not proven, exaggerates, enlarges, (11:13) that is, embellishes as a statement beyond normal, flatters, praises too much or without sincerity, (11:22) curses, prays for harm to come upon someone, gossips habitually, reveals personal or (11:30) sensational facts, babbles, talks enthusiastically or excessively, mystifies, perplexes the mind of, (11:39) makes mysterious, misleads, leads in a wrong direction or into mistakes, mistake in action (11:47) or belief, misrepresents, represents falsely or unfairly, deceives, causes to believe in an (11:55) untruth, mistakes, makes a wrong judgment of the character or ability of, falsifies, alters so as (12:03) to deceive, religious, relating or devoted to an acknowledged ultimate reality or deity.(12:13) Jeremiah 23.15-17 says, Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets, (12:21) Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of Gaul. (12:26) For from the prophets of Jerusalem profaneness has gone out into the land, (12:31) thus says the LORD of hosts. Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you, (12:38) that make you worthless. They speak a vision of their own heart, and not from the mouth of the (12:43) LORD. They continually say to those who despise me, The LORD has said, You shall have peace. (12:50) And to everyone who walks according to the dictates of his own heart they say, No evil (12:55) shall come upon you.The lying spirit is what I refer to as the godfather of the dark underworld. (13:02) Without the lie there is nothing. The spirit's job is to steal, kill, and destroy, to annihilate.(13:15) To kill your calling and steal your inheritance. One of the tragedies I've seen is that often, (13:21) when new Christians come into the church, they're given strict rules and regulations (13:27) that cause greater bondage and fear in their lives than before they came to Christ. (13:33) It isn't because of Christ, because we know His yoke is easy and burden is light.(13:39) It is more often the religious, lying spirit at work in a church. Too many have sadly watered (13:47) down the holy word, using grace as a crutch. Grace is important and a gift from God, (13:54) but so many believers misunderstand what grace really is.(13:59) Wherever I do deliverance, I expect that the lying spirit will always be there trying to stop me. It (14:06) must be bound and then commanded to shut up. This spirit's true mission is to pervert the truth (14:12) and will use us to lie, accuse, and blame one another.Often the person needing deliverance (14:21) will receive mental pictures, seeing things that are not actually there, and hearing what is not (14:27) actually spoken. Be careful as a deliverance minister. Be aware of your surroundings, (14:35) your thoughts and perceptions.Keep in mind what you are there to accomplish. (14:40) To deliver those out of darkness into the light of Jesus. We need God's wisdom and understanding (14:47) as we navigate through these darker times. The enemy's job is to lie, twist, and insinuate (14:55) in order to remove what the Father has given us. He has given us truth and life, (15:00) not death and destruction. Without the lie, the enemy has nothing. And that is why it is always (15:07) important to test every spirit. Unfortunately, there have been numerous marriages, families, (15:14) ministries, and jobs destroyed by the misunderstandings that are caused by this (15:20) spirit. With every promise that the Father gives us, there will always be opposition to that (15:28) promise.The calling on many saints' lives has been lost by buying into a lie. Just like Adam (15:37) and Eve in the garden bought into a lie and lost the promise and God's glory once they knew they (15:43) were naked, it was too late. But that is why Jesus came, to restore us to Himself and the Father.(15:51) Jesus is our glory, and it is never too late to accept Him as our Lord and Savior. (15:57) Perhaps you've gone through a divorce, lost a loved one, or fell away from what you believed. (16:02) Please know that the calling on your life is yes and amen.It is irrefutable. Remembering your (16:08) calling and who He created you to be is just the ammunition you need to say to the lies, (16:14) no more. It is time to remind the enemy of his place.Declare the truth out loud and come out (16:23) of your death clothes and be whole in Jesus' name. Please pray this prayer with me. (16:31) Right now, in the name of Jesus, we bind up the lies of the enemy.I curse every word that has (16:38) had an assignment on it against me with your truth. You will not take root or cause my name (16:45) to be destroyed by your lies and deception. Father, I loose faith to arise and scatter (16:52) the enemy in Jesus' powerful name.Whatever I need to say, I am wearing my belt of truth (16:59) as I am armed and dangerous. Father, every time the lies come in and want to mislead me (17:07) from You, I ask Holy Spirit right now for Your help to endure the trial (17:12) and times until full vindication comes. I refuse to settle for less.(17:19) I thank You for what You are doing and teaching me. Amen. (17:24) My personal weapon of choice is warring in tongues in the prayer language, right? (17:29) Using my prayer language, I do pray in English or at times in a different language, (17:34) but I find personally a thrust from the natural to the spiritual realm (17:39) when I am praying in tongues, releasing the angels of heaven to move on my behalf.(17:45) Hallelujah.

Let's take spirit number two, the spirit of bondage. (17:53) Bondage is the state of being under the control of another person.(17:58) People can become imprisoned in every area of their lives, a slave to Satan. Every addiction (18:05) is linked to the spirit of bondage. Let's read that again.Every addiction is linked to the spirit (18:14) of bondage because they are unable to break free. Romans 8.15 says, (18:21) For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the spirit of (18:27) adoption, by whom we cry out, Abba, Father. 2 Timothy 2.26 And that they may come to their (18:38) senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.(18:46) Manifestations of this spirit cause a submission to commit to the discretion or decision of another (18:54) or of others. Forms a yoke, a device that embraces two parts to hold or unite them in a position. (19:03) Constrains, compels, forces, confines.Enslaves, that is to make a slave, also sex slaves, (19:13) including children. Instills dependency, that is the quality or state of being influenced by (19:20) or subject to another. Commands subjection, a person under the authority of another.(19:29) Self-doubt, the enemy can plant self-doubt and you begin to second-guess yourself, (19:34) which is sabotaging. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. (19:40) James 1.7-8 says, Spiritually blind, lacking the fullness of the Holy Spirit.(19:48) Some denominations believe that speaking in other tongues is of the devil. However, (19:52) we know that this is part of our born-again birthright. All of them were filled with the (19:59) Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.Acts 2.4. (20:06) This spirit is an oppressing spirit, burdens psychologically or mentally. (20:13) Here's a scripture, Acts 10.38, God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, (20:20) and he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, (20:26) because God was with him. This is our mandate as well.(20:32) Not saved, this is another manifestation, not yet redeemed, okay? For God so loved the world, (20:39) he gave his only begotten Son, whoever believes in him will not perish, but have everlasting life. (20:44) God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but the world through him might be (20:50) saved. He who believes in him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, (20:57) but because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.(21:01) And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, (21:05) and men love darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing (21:12) evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he (21:20) who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done (21:27) in God.John 3.16-21. Okay, we're talking about the spirit of bondage, (21:32) another manifestation, bitterness, a feeling of deep and bitter anger and ill will. Bitterness (21:39) will rob you of your joy and your peace. It leads either to isolation or greater sin.(21:45) Cain was bitter in his heart toward Abel. Being consumed with negativity and bitterness, (21:51) he murdered his brother. Another dies in bitterness of the soul, never having enjoyed (21:57) anything good, Job 21.25 tells us.This spirit is compulsive, unable to stop something (22:07) that they're doing, bound in sin. The evil deeds of the wicked ensnare them. The cords of their (22:14) sins hold them fast, Proverbs 5.22 says.Bound in chains, unable to break free, (22:21) enslaved in addictions. Remember, addiction is a big one, spirit of bondage. (22:29) For I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin, Acts 8.23. Human captivity, (22:37) under the power of another, especially nowadays, so sad.Sex slaves. Oh, I could (22:44) tell you some stories that I heard from Tim Tebow about this. He's in this ministry to (22:50) try and set all these children free that are in these sex rings. It's so sad. (23:00) But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, (23:05) and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin, which is in my members, Romans 7.23. (23:11) You will see a pattern throughout this book. A lot of relationships keep victims broken (23:18) and unable to be free. This is why there is so much domestic violence of battered and abused (23:26) adults and children. It's everywhere. A plague within our society.I could write volumes on (23:33) this spirit alone. It is our churches as well as our schools, neighborhoods, and nations. It is (23:39) in our churches, schools, neighborhoods, and our nation. So many come from dysfunctional homes (23:45) and are like lost children, groping in the dark for their identity, crying out, (23:50) Who am I? They have never really tasted freedom because they have not received (23:56) the spirit of adoption in which they cry, Abba, Father. (24:01) I have seen more of God's people, whole and healed, once they received the revelation of (24:08) who their Father is. It is like an umbilical cord in the spirit that goes from God's heart to theirs.(24:15) When you see people struggling with alcohol, drug abuse, pornography, always remember that (24:23) it is rooted in spiritual darkness. They are in bondage to these sins. It isn't flesh and (24:30) blood we fight against. Many of these people have opened doors, that's a key word, opened doors, (24:36) that they do not know how to shut and they feel powerless. Many keep searching for the answer. (24:43) If this is you, do not stop. You will find what you need. Continue to walk in love and keep praying (24:50) for your loved ones because they will be set free. Love is powerful and disarms bondages.(24:58) Luke 4.18, the Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach the gospel (25:04) to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captives (25:10) and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are opposed. (25:16) Every shackle and every yoke that has been laid on you can be removed.I would remind you to first (25:24) forgive others and yourself. Many have experienced so much shame. Once you forgive yourself, those (25:32) chains will fall off of you and like Lazarus, you will come forth. No one can disqualify you (25:39) except you yourself. I keep my heart and attitude in check as much as possible. (25:45) I have my moments, but I really don't want to be bitter and downright mean.(25:51) Regrets and guilt are the most powerful weapons the enemy uses to keep us captive to our past. (25:57) Let me read that one again. Regrets and guilt are the most powerful weapons (26:04) the enemy uses to keep us captive to our past. When I get caught in the loop of the past, (26:10) you know, that rerun that goes over and over in your head, I start decreeing out loud, (26:16) no more, no more. I always come back to the word, especially I love Deuteronomy 28, 6-7. (26:24) You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.The Lord will grant that the (26:29) enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one (26:35) direction, but flee from you in seven. Pray with me.Father, right now in the name of Jesus Christ, (26:43) we break free all who have been chained and held in bondage. Let's say that again. You say it.(26:52) Right now in the name of Jesus, I break free from anything that I've been chained and held (26:57) in bondage to. Amen. Father, I receive the fullness of what the blood of Christ purchased (27:03) for me on Calvary.I refuse to be chained to the past. I refuse to live like this is (27:09) for one more day. I know the enemy wants to be defeated or wants me to be defeated, (27:16) disgusted and busted, barely getting by, begging for crumbs because he sees my future. But Lord, (27:21) I'm victorious in You, leading others out of bondage to You. Thank You for leading me to the (27:28) right people who will help me get free and walk through and get understanding I need. (27:34) Thank You, Jesus.I'm learning...
